Expression of LAMB3 and FABP6 in endometrial cancer tissue and their prognostic value
Objective To investigate the expression and prognostic value of laminin subunit β3(LAMB3)and fatty acid-binding protein 6(FABP6)in endometrial cancer. Methods Endometrial cancer and its adjacent tissues from 113 endometrial cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital collected during surgery were selected as study samples. The expression of LAMB3 and FABP6 in tissues was dsetected;the relationship between LAMB3 and FABP6 and patient prognosis was analyzed;the risk factors affecting the prognosis of endometrial cancer patients were determined. Results The expression levels of LAMB3 and FABP6 in endometrial cancer tissue were higher than those in the adjacent tissues(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between LAMB3 and FABP6 expression in endometrial cancer tissue(P<0.05).The survival rate of the low expression LAMB3 group was higher than that of the high expression LAMB3 group(P<0.05),and the survival rate of the low expression FABP6 group was higher than that of the high expression FABP6 group(P<0.05);that FIGO stage Ⅲ,depth of myometrial invasion ≥ 1/2,lymph node metastasis, low differentiation,POLE no mutant, high expression of LAMB3,and high expression of FABP6 were risk factors for death within 3 years in endometrial cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusion LAMB3 and FABP6 are abnormally highly expressed in endometrial cancer tissue, and they are closely related to the clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis of patients.
