Expression of ERK and p38 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and their clinicopathological significance
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of ERK and p38 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)and various clinicopathological indicators,as well as the correlation with prognosis. Methods The positive expression of ERK and p38 in 152 cases of DLBCL was detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between ERK and P38 was analyzed by SPSS 23.0 software. Results In DLBCL,the positive rates of ERK and p38 were 68.4%and 50%,respectively.The positive rates of ERK and p38 were high in tumor diameter>4 cm,and the differences were statistically significant, and both were significantly positively correlated with tumor diameter. The positive expression rate of p38 was higher in nodal lesions and extranodal invasion>2 lymph nodes, and the difference was statistically significant, and it was positively correlated with extranodal invasion and negatively correlated with the primary site.In multivariate analysis, performance status score,LDH level, and R-CH0P treatment were independent risk factors for overall survival in DLBCL patients. Conclusion These findings indicate the carcinogenic role of ERK and p38 in DLBCL,suggesting that they are potential therapeutic targets for DLBCL.
