Relationship between LZTS2,FN1,miR-146a and clinicopathologic parameters of thyroid cancer
Objective To analyze the differential expression of leucine zipper tumor suppressor 2(LZTS2),fibronectin 1(FN1),micro-ribonucleic acid-146a(miR-146a)in thyroid carcinoma tissues and their relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods A total of 109 thyroid cancer patients admitted to Anhui Wanbei Coal and Electricity Group General Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. All the selected patients underwent subtotal thyroidectomy or total resection, and some of the paracancerous tissues and cancer tissues resected during surgery were collected. The expression levels of LZTS2,FN1,miR-146a in paracancerous tissues and cancer tissues of patients with different clinicopathologic features were compared. The correlation between the expression levels of LZTS2,FN1,miR-146a in carcinoma tissues was analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of LZTS2 in cancer tissues of thyroid cancer patients was lower than that in paraneoplastic tissues(P<0.05),while the positive expression rate of FN1 and the expression of miR-146a were higher than that in paraneoplastic tissues(P<0.05).Compared with patients of stageⅠ~Ⅱwithout lymph node metastasis, the positive expression rate of LZTS2 in patients of stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ with lymph node metastasis was decreased, while the positive expression rates of FN1,miR-146a were increased(P<0.05).LZTS2 was negatively correlated with FN1 and miR-146a in the cancer tissues, while FN1 was positively correlated with miR-146a(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of LZTS2 is decreaed in patients with thyroid carcinoma tissues, while that of FN1 and miR-146a is increased, which may be involved in the progression of thyroid carcinoma.
