Design of Low Power Consumption and Real-Time Monitoring System of Micrometeorological for Power Transmission Line
Aiming at the impact of climate change on the safe operation of electric power system transmission lines and the stable operation of power grid,a real-time remote micrometeorological system based on general packet radio service(GPRS) has been designed for monitoring wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation and temperature. The system is based on MSP430f149 and signal conditioning circuit, the sensor data collected are processed and stored locally, and transmitted to the host server through GPRS.The software of host computer is developed by.NET Framework 4.0.Through on-the-spot applications,it is verified that this system can work reliably under the low temperature and bad weather, which meets the requirement of long term monitoring. This system provides a strong data support for the analysis of meteorological changes and natural disasters, which has great significance to guarantee the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
