Cross-crossing of high-voltage direct current(DC)transmission lines is a problem in the development of China's ultra-high voltage(UHV)technology.Due to the mutual influence of the two DC lines, the synthetic electric field in the cross-crossing area is a complex three-dimensional distribution, and it is difficult to calculate the synthetic electric field on the ground of the UHV DC transmission project.A typical±800 kV UHV DC transmission project is selected to carry out the ground synthetic electric field measurement study.Referring to GB 39220-2020,HDEM-01 synthetic field strength meter is used for field measurement. The measured parameter is the amount of charge accumulated on the field mill sensor during the validity period.Comparison of the measurement results with the measured data at the early stage of operation shows that:the synthetic electric field strength at the early stage of operation around the±800 kV converter station is slightly lower than that at the later stage, and the overall level is lower;74%of the measured data at the early and later stages of operation of the sensitive targets of the electromagnetic environment along the line is less than 5 kV/m.Through this study, the characteristics of the synthetic electric field at different periods of the UHV DC transmission project have been clarified. The study contributes to advance the rapid completion of the UHV DC transmission project and improve its operational safety, thus contributing to the development of power engineering construction.
