Design of IGBT Drive Protection System for Induction Heating Power Supply
To improve the stability of the signal source and protection circuit of the insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)of the induction heating power supply,the IGBT driving and protection system applied to the industrialized low-frequency and high-power induction heating power supply equipment is designed.The system as a whole adopts the complex programmable logic device(CPLD)+ digital signal processing(DSP)cooperative work program,controlled by the low-frequency sinusoidal pulse width modulation(SPWM)technology,with the pulse transformer 2ED300C17-S as the core of the IGBT protection circuit,the IGBT fault processing circuits,desaturation detection circuits,and active clamping circuits,and a variety of other protection circuits are designed.Theoretical analysis of the system and Matlab/Simulink simulation are carried out to built a physical test platform.The test results show that when the workpiece is heated to 900℃,the output power parameters of the inverter and the load-side power parameters meet the requirements of high-power induction heating power supply,and the signal source output is high stability,and the response time of the protection circuit is fast.The design provides technical support for related industrialized applications.
