Design of Charge and Discharge Monitoring System for Vehicle Supercapacitor
To study the characteristics of a new type of vehicle supercapacitor,to ensure its stability and reliability during operation and effective utilixation its performance advantages,a charge and discharge monitoring system for vehicle supercapacitor is designed.The acquisition of each signal and the charging and discharging of supercapacitors are accomplished by utilizing sensors,universal serial bus(USB)data acquisition card,adjustable direct current regulated power supply,electronic load,and signal conditioning circuit.Using the virtual instrument software LabVIEW as the development platform,the monitoring of supercapacitor charging and discharging current,terminal voltage,storage capacity,stored energy and surface temperature etc.are completed.The test results show that the system can stably and accurately realize the charging and discharging monitoring of supercapacitor;the monomer of vehicle supercapacitor has better low-temperature performance when it is charged and discharged under 100 A high current;the system's voltage measurement accuracy can reach±0.1%,current measurement accuracy can reach±0.6%,and temperature measurement accuracy can reach±1.5%.The design provides a reference for monitoring the charging and discharging of supercapacitors.
