Indoor Positioning System Based on Wi-Fi Fingerprinting and LED Optical Characteristics
This paper introduces an indoor positioning system based on Wi-Fi fingerprinting and LED optical charac-teristics,integrating the color temperature and frequency information of both Wi-Fi fingerprinting and optical features for combined positioning.Optical characteristics are employed to enhance the accuracy of Wi-Fi fingerprinting posi-tioning.The area that requires positioning is divided into multiple identical sub-areas,and a sparse Wi-Fi fingerprint map is established across the entire region.The specific sub-area where the target is located is identified using Wi-Fi fin-gerprint positioning.Precise positioning within the sub-area is achieved using optical information related to light inten-sity and frequency.In conclusion,through designed experiments and simulation results,it shown that in indoor settings,this system achieves a positioning with an average error of 0.97 dm,demonstrating its effective positioning capability.
