Abstract
This paper aims to investigate the relationship between energy efficiency optimization and sustainable devel-opment in data centers.Firstly,we analyze the energy consumption structure of data centers and highlight the poten-tial environmental threats posed by high energy consumption.Secondly,we explore various strategies for improving energy efficiency,including hardware and equipment optimization,software and data management,and the adoption of renewable energy.Finally,we focus on the sustainable development of data centers and their environmental impact,including carbon footprint and social responsibility.The importance of sustainable development is emphasized,and prospects for future development directions are provided.
