The preliminary verification of duty crimes has a function of filtering crimes,illegal activities,and disciplinary violations.By using digital technology and following certain information processing procedures,open source intelligence contained in human behaviors such as duty crimes can be excavated.It can play a huge value in obtaining and comparing case clues,linking and verifying related cases,preliminarily identifying the involved property online,and assisting in the investigation of difficult and significant matters.Concentrated performance includes promoting the reform of initial verification measures,reducing the risk of initial verification intention exposure,transforming the tendency towards homogenization of initial verification and investigation,and improving the efficiency and accuracy of initial verification.To truly realize the value of open source intelligence in the initial stage of duty crimes,it is necessary to establish the concept of using open source intelligence for preliminary verification of duty crimes,promote the integration of open source intelligence with other intelligence,build an open source intelligence application system around preliminary verification elements and strengthen the cultivation of professional competence in open source intelligence.
