The Historical Writing and Enlightenment of the Han-Tibetan-Manchu-Mongolian National Community in Tibetan Documents in the Qing Dynasty
Tibetan documents had a special understanding of the relationship between Han,Tibetan,Manchu, and Mongolian under the unified multi-ethnic Qing Dynasty. In narratives related to the politics and religion,Tibetan documents often juxtaposes"Han,Tibetan, and Mongolian"as a whole, and"Man"is often integrated into Han related narratives, thus achieving a consensus on the"Han,Tibetan,Manchu, and Mongolians"community. The formation of this concept was a continuation of the multi-ethnic historical writing tradition in Tibetan documents since the Yuan Dynasty, and also a reflection of the development of relationships among various ethnic groups such as Han,Tibetan,Manchu, and Mongolian in the Qing Dynasty. The authors'realistic consideration of the relationship between the Qing Dynasty and ethnic groups,as well as the status of the Tibetan ethnic group in a multi-ethnic country, also contributed to the formation of the concept of"Han-Tibetan-Manchu-Mongolian"national community. This understanding is widely accepted by Tibetan documents writers.
