The museum grading is an important tool to guide museums to clarify their roles and directions,also to promote the sustainable development of the museum sector.It is a cornerstone to modernize the museum governance system and capacit:From December 2023 to August 2024,the Chinese Museums Association conducted the fifth national museum grading.By analyzing the results and application data collected during the assessment process,some insights into the current development state of Chinese museum sector and its problems have been gained.The process can also provide reference for the works or researches conducted by museum professionals who participated in or paid attention to the grading.
