The Main agronomic traits and herbage nutritional value of 16 chickpea accessions were determined in Lanzhou,and the grey correlation theory was used to evaluate 12 major parameters comprehensively.The results showed that Bumpe and FLIP97-114C were not suitable for growing in Lanzhou because they could not normally grow.Significant differences existed among the herbage yield and nutritional value of 16 accessions; however,there was no difference in dry matter concentration.Jimbour and Flipper had the highest herbage yield.The highest crude ash content was achieved in the ICCV 98818 and ICCV 96852.For Jimbour # 1,its crude protein was the highest and ADF and NDF content were the lowest.The P content in Flipper was the highest and the Ca content was the lowest.ICCV 98813 had the highest EE content.Jimbour # 1 and Flipper showed the best comprehensive characteristics in Lanzhou region because their grey correlation degrees were both 0.74 and larger than that of the other accessions.
