Effect of Cutting on Community Characteristics in Grassland for Hay in Hulunbuir
The effect of cutting on community biomass,main plant coverage,community diversity and nutrients in grassland in Hulunbuir were studied.The results showed that the main plant species biomass was larger on August 1st and 15th.Pulsatilla turczaninovii and Artemisia laciniata's biomass was significantly affected by cutting date,but Artemisia frigida was the opposite.Cutting on August 15th,the ADF and NDF of community were lower,which was conducive to assimilate for the livestock,but community biomass and diversity were maintaining high level.Besides,the community protein content was the highest.
