Cloning and Characteristic Analysis of MfNAC34 in Medicago falcata
NAC transcription factor can regulate plant growth and development and respond to abiotic stress. In this study,a NAC family protein gene MfNAC34(GenBank accession number:MH481768)was cloned from Medicago falcata in Xilinguole League steppe of Inner Mongolia, the physicochemical properties, subcellular localization and transcriptional activation activity of MfNAC34 protein were identified. The results showed that the open reding frame sequence of MfNAC34 gene was 621 bp,encoding a hydrophilic protein with a molecular weight of 23.52 kD and a theoretical isoelectric point of 4.09.MfNAC34 was a stress-induced tran-scription factor localized in the nucleus, and the transcription activation domain was located at its C-terminal.
