Relationship Between Soil Physical and Chemical Properties and Leaf Ecological Stoichiometric Characteristics of Wild Apocynum venetum in Different Habitats
Apocynum venetum L.is plant with high stress resistance.Studying the physical and chemi-cal properties of its soil and ecological stoichiometric characteristics of leaves at species level can reveal the adaptability of A.venetum to environmental changes.Leaf samples were collected from Jinta county of Gansu province,Minqin county of Gansu province,Hangjinqi of Inner Mongolia,Zhaluteqi of Inner Mon-golia and Baicheng city of Jilin province, and the rhizosphere soil of A.venetum was collected by the soil profile method and related analysis was carried out.The results showed that the soil fertility of the A.vene-tum sample plot was low, with high salinity and poor fertility retention.Among the five sample plots, the plot with the highest electrical conductivity was in Hangjinqi, and the plot with the lowest electrical conduc-tivity was in Zhaluteqi. The highest soil pH value was in Baicheng city, and the lowest was in Zhaluteqi.Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant correlation(P<0.05)between the nitro-gen and phosphorus content of A.venetum leaves and pH and electrical conductivity. The nitrogen content in leaves was significantly negatively correlated with soil organic matter and available potassium content, with correlation coefficients of-0.606 and-0.484(P<0.01).The carbon content in leaves was signifi-cantly positively correlated with soil organic matter, available potassium, and cation exchange capacity, with correlation coefficients of 0.389,0.373,and 0.422(P<0.05),respectively.It was a significantly negatively correlated with available phosphorus, with a correlation coefficient of-0.400(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between leaf phosphorus content and soil available components and cat-ion exchange capacity, indicating that leaf phosphorus content was less affected by soil nutrients and cation exchange capacity.
