Analysis of 579 antitumor Chinese medicine decoction pieces prescriptions in a hospital
Objective Through the investigation and analysis of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for malignant tumor patients in the department of traditional Chinese medicine of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital,the characteristics and rules of drug use were summarized,so as to provide reference for rational drug use in clinic.Methods 579 TCM decoction pieces prescriptions diagnosed as malignant tumors were collected and screened from the department of traditional Chinese medicine outpatient from January to October 2022.The dosage of top 25 TCM prescriptions involving patients'gender,age,cancer type and frequency of use were retrospectively analyzed.Results There were 317 cases(54.75%)of malignant tumors in 50 to 69 years old people,and the number of female patients was higher than that of male patients(69.08%).The tumors were mainly breast cancer,lung cancer and colorectal cancer(68.39%).The most frequently used Chinese medicines were tonifying deficiency,improving water,regulating qi and reducing phlegm.Conclusion In the treatment of malignant tumor,the traditional Chinese medicine mainly focuses on strengthening the right and eliminating the evil.By regulating the physiological function of the body and improving the immune function of the body,the anti-cancer ability of the body can be enhanced.
