Analysis of pathogen detection results and prognosis of respiratory diseases in children with febrile seizures
Objective To analyze the results of pathogen detection for respiratory diseases in children with febrile seizures and explore the factors affecting the prognosis of children with febrile seizures. Methods 80 children with febrile seizures admitted between May 2022 and May 2023 were selected.Collect clinical data and relevant pathogen detection results of the children, and follow up the prognosis of the children.Analyze the factors that affect the prognosis of children with febrile seizures using univariate and multivariate logistic analysis. Results Among the pathogenic bacteria detected in 80 patients, the proportion of influenza B virus was the highest, with 31 strains(38.75%),followed by 21 strains(26.25%)of influenza A.Age,premature delivery, nature of seizures, frequency of seizures, duration of seizures, and pathogen testing results are related factors that affect the prognosis of children with febrile seizures(P<0.05).The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age<3 years old, premature delivery, complex seizures,seizures≥2 times, seizures duration≥30 minutes, and positive pathogen test results were all risk factors affecting the prognosis of children with febrile seizures. Conclusion Influenza B virus and influenza A virus are the main pathogens causing febrile seizures in children.Age<3 years old, premature delivery, complex seizures,seizures≥2 times, seizures lasting≥30 minutes, and positive pathogen testing results are all risk factors that affect the prognosis of children with febrile seizures.Clinical treatment should pay attention to these factors, strengthen the vaccination rate of children, and improve the prognosis of children.
