Analysis of "4+7" centralized volume-based procurement policy on the use of insulin
Objective To analyze the influence of the"4+7"centralized volume-based procurement policy on the use of insulin in Pizhou People's Hospital,and to provide reference for policy formulation and improvement.Methods The unit price,quantity used,amount used,the de-fined daily doses(DDDs)and the defined daily cost(DDC)of insulin before and after the implementation of the"4+7"centralized procurement policy of the hospital were analyzed retrospectively.Results After the implementation of the"4+7"centralized procurement policy,the average price of winning insulin decreased by 45.60%.The quantity of insulin increased by 11.38%while the amount of medication decreased by 37.24%,and the cost of drugs was saved by 2 242 346.48 yuan.The DDC of the winning insulin decreased,and the DDDs increased except for a slight decrease in Insulin Aspart 30 Injection.Conclusion The implementation of the"4+7"centralized procurement policy has significantly reduced the cost of insulin drugs,effectively alleviating the burden of patients,which can be continuously promoted to provide reference for optimizing policies.
