Analysis of factors associated with decreased leukocyte or meutrophil count in the first diagnosed of Graves'disease
Objective To analyze the factors associated with decreased leukocyte or neutrophil count in peripheral blood of first diagnosed Graves'disease patients. Methods General data and laboratory examination of 113 patients with Graves'disease treated in a hospital from March 2020 to November 2022 were collected, and they were divided into normal leukocyte and neutrophil count group(normal group)and reduced leukocyte or neutrophil count group(reduced group),according to the reduction of leukocyte or neutrophil count in peripheral blood. The factors associated with decreased leukocyte or neutrophil count in newly diagnosed Graves'disease patients were analyzed. Results Statistical analysis showed that there were no difference in age,sex and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),FT3,FT4 and TRAb in reduced group were higher than those in normal group, with statistical differences(P<0.05),there were no difference in TSH,TGAb and TPOAb between the two groups(P>0.05).FT3,FT4 and TRAb levels were positively correlated with the reduction of leukocyte or neutrophil count(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that high levels of TRAb(OR= 1.071,95%CI:1.00~1.15)were associated with decreased leukocyte or neutrophil counts in the peripheral blood of first diagnosed Graves'disease patients. Conclusion FT3,FT4 and TRAb levels are associated with decreased leukocyte or neutrophil count in peripheral blood of first diagnosed Graves'disease patients, and high level TRAb is risk factor.
