Analysis of drug use of anti-infective therapy and pharmaceutical care in a case of osteomyelitis with immunosuppression
Objective To investigate the methods of antimicrobial administration in patients with osteomyelitis in immunosuppression and the role of clinical pharmacists in drug therapy.Methods A clinical pharmacist participated in the whole course of anti-infection treatment for a patient with mixed bacterial infection in immunosuppression,the selection of antimicrobial agents and the adjustment of initial dosage and mode of administration of tegecycline were analyzed based on the results of antimicrobial susceptibility test and antimicrobial characteristics.Results The infection was controlled and no obvious adverse reaction occurred.Conclusion In the treatment of patients with immunosuppressive osteomyelitis,clinical pharmacists play a professional advantage,can help doctors optimize anti-infection treatment,improve clinical efficacy.
