Effect of afzosin hydrochloride combined with cefixime in the treatment of neurogenic bladder complicated with urinary tract infection in children
Objective To investigate the effect of afzosin hydrochloride combined with cefixime in the treatment of neurogenic bladder complicated with urinary tract infection in children.Methods A total of 60 children with neurogenic bladder complicated with urinary tract infection enrolled in a hospital from May 2018 to April 2023 were divided into control group(n= 30)and study group(n= 30)according to random number method.The control group was treated with afzosin hydrochloride,and the study group was treated with afzosin hydrochloride combined with cefixime.The levels of inflammatory factors,improvement of clinical symptoms and cell count were compared between the two groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP levels between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in IC times,PVR,LPV and LPP between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference in LPV levels between the two groups(P＞0.05),but the IC times,PVR and LPP in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in urine WBC count,blood WBC count and blood neutrophil count between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the urine WBC count,blood WBC count and blood neutrophil count in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of afzosin hydrochloride combined with cefixime in children with neurogenic bladder complicated with urinary tract infection can effectively improve the clinical efficacy,reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in the blood,and effectively reduce the levels of urinary white blood cells,blood white blood cells and blood neutral particles.
