Clinical efficacy observation of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with tirofiban in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke with wind-phlegm stasis type
Objective The aim of the study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the addition and subtraction of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with tirofiban in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke of wind-phlegm stasis type.Methods 100 patients were screened to meet the inclusion criteria,and were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,50 cases each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine and intravenous pumping of tirofiban.The observation group was treated with the addition of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction on the basis of the control group.Each group was treated for 14 days.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome points scale,NIHSS score,Functional Independence Measurement Scale(FIM),Modified Motor Function Score(mRS),and the levels of related blood indexes[ultrasensitive C-Reactive Protein(hs-CRP),coagulation indexes,Interleukin-6(IL-6),Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)]were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores,MRS scores,FIM scores,as well as the TCM evidence scores,and the levels of relevant hematological indexes improved in both groups(P＜0.05),and the improvement of the above indexes in the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with Western medical treatment alone,the combination of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and tirofiban is more effective in treating acute ischemic stroke with wind-phlegm and phlegm stasis obstruction,which can significantly improve neurological function and quality of life,and is more effective in alleviating the effects of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes.
