Application and research progress of esmketamine in postoperative analgesia
Postoperative pain is one of the common complications in the perioperative period.Inadequate postoperative analgesia can lead to acute postoperative pain developing into chronic postoperative pain(CPSP),and even cause hyperalgesia and neuropathic pain in patients, which seriously affects postoperative rehabilitation and quality of life.Good postoperative analgesia is the focus of perioperative medicine, but high-dose opioids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for postoperative analgesia have more adverse reactions.Esketamine was initially used for the treatment of treatment-resistant depression.Because of its effect of blocking N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor and reducing central sensitization of pain,it has been used to prevent and relieve postoperative pain in China. Therefore, this article intends to summarize the application of esketamine in postoperative analgesia, and provide reference for the application of esketamine in the field of analgesia.
