Analysis of prescription drug use of pediatric upper respiratory tract infection in a hospital in 2021
Objective To study the prescription and rationality of upper respiratory tract infection in pediatric outpatient and emergency departments.Methods From January 2021 to December 2021 in Wuhu Second People's Hospital,a total of 4 573 prescriptions with the first diagnosis of upper respiratory tract infection in pediatric outpatient and emergency departments were extracted,and the drug types,ingredients,expenses and drug rationality were analyzed.Results Among the 4 573 prescriptions,there were 2 769 prescriptions using proprietary Chinese medicines,accounting for the highest proportion(45.86%);A total of 1 433 antibacterial drugs ranked second,with a utilization rate of 23.73%.Followed by antipyretic and analgesic drugs,antiviral drugs,glucocorticoid.There were 1 196 irrational prescriptions(26.15%),including unclear indications for intravenous use of glucocorticoids,inappropriate frequency of use of antibacterial drugs and too high starting point for variety selection.Conclusion There are some problems in pediatric prescriptions in the hospital,such as lax indications,inappropriate variety selection,repeated medication and so on,which need to be paid attention to.
