Study on the auxiliary application value of vitamin D during the treatment of levothyroxine sodium tablets in children with hypothyroidism
Objective To analysis of the effect of using vitamin D when taking levothyroxine sodium tablets for treatment in children with hypothyroidism.Methods 30 children with hypothyroidism admitted to a hospital from May 1,2022 to November 30,2022 were randomly selected and divided into a control group(levothyroxine sodium tablets)and a study group(levothyroxine sodium tablets+vitamin D)using a random number table method,with 15 cases in each group.Compare the application effects between two groups.Results After treatment,the weight and height of the study group patients were higher than those of the control group,and their intellectual development was also better,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of TSH,TC,TG,and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the blood calcium content in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of vitamin D during the treatment of levothyroxine sodium tablets in children with hypothyroidism can help regulate total calcium levels,prevent abnormal bone metabolism,and promote good disease outcomes..
