Clinical study of autologous platelet-rich plasma combined with fractional laser and finasteride in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia
Objective To study the efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)combined with fractional laser and finasteride in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia(AGA).Methods 80 cases of AGA patients were selected from May 2022 to May 2023 in Tianjin Beichen Hospital, and were divided into 3 groups according to the difference of treatment plans:group A(26 cases)received finasteride treatment, group B(26 cases)received fractional laser and finasteride treatment, and group C(28 cases)received autologous PRP,fractional laser, and finasteride combined treatment. The clinical efficacy, subjective symptom(greasiness, alopecia, itching, scaling)scores and hair microscopy results(mean hair shaft diameter, mean cuirass ratio, and mean hair density)before and 3 months after treatment were compared among the 3 groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of group C>group B and group A(P<0.05).Three months after treatment, the scores of greasiness, alopecia, itching and scaling in group C<group B<group A(P<0.05).Three months after treatment, the average hair shaft diameter, average cuirass ratio and average hair density of the three groups were improved, and the average hair shaft diameter and average hair density of group C was>group B and group A,while the average cuirass ratio was<group B and group A(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of autologous PRP,fractional laser, and finasteride is effective in the treatment of AGA and can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
