Observation on the curative effect of Chaiqi Kaiyu Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of mild/moderate depression(qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction type)after stroke
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of self-prepared Chaiqi Kaiyu Decoction combined with acupoint application on mild/moderate depression(qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction type)after stroke.Methods A total of 80 inpatients with mild/moderate depression(qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction type)after stroke in a hospital from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected and divided into the control group and the test group with 40 cases in each group according to random number table method.The control group was given oral treatment of Sertraline on the basis of conventional treatment,and the test group was given self-prepared Chaiqi Kaiyu Decoction combined with acupoint application treatment on the basis of conventional treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome score,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,neurological impairment(NIHSS)score,activity of daily living(ADL)score,fatigue degree(FAI)score were compared before and after treatment,and clinical efficacy was evaluated.Results After treatment,the NIHSS score,FAI score and HAMD score of 2 groups were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),and the test group was lower than the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,the ADL scores of 2 groups were higher than before treatment(P＜0.05),and after treatment,the test group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The clinical effective rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion For patients with mild/moderate depression after stroke(qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction type),on the basic of western medicine treatment,self-prepared Chaiqi Kaiyu Decoction combined with acupoint application treatment can effectively reduce clinical symptoms,promote the recovery of nervous function,relieve fatigue state,and improve the state of daily life.It is safe and reliable.
