CiteSpace-based visual analysis of Chinese medicine-related literature on endocrine therapy for breast cancer
Objective To visually analyse the research literature on the endocrine treatment of breast cancer in Chinese medicine by using CiteSpace software,to analyse the current status and frontiers of this field,and to foresee the research trends,to provide reference for further research.Methods The literature related to TCM for endocrine treatment of breast cancer from January 2001 to April 2023 was searched in the China Knowledge Network database,exported in"Refworks"format,and visualised using CiteSpace software to analyse authors,institutions and keywords.Results The number of articles included was 332,and the number of articles published in this field has been increasing year by year,stabilising at over 20 articles from 2016,with the main type of literature being clinical studies.Among the research scholars,Fu Yang and Lu Wenping published the most articles(6),Yao Chang and Bian Weihe had more teams,and the team collaboration was mainly internal.Among the issuing institutions,Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has the highest number of articles(29).High-frequency keywords suggest that research topics were focused on breast cancer,tamoxifen,clinical research and quality of life.Conclusion The size of TCM-related studies on endocrine therapy for breast cancer has been on the rise in recent years,and the studies are diverse,with TCM treatment of endocrine therapy-related adverse effects being the main research theme,and the studies are mainly clinical studies.
