Practice and analysis of drug abuse monitoring in a tertiary comprehensive medical institution
Objective To explore the methods of drug abuse monitoring in comprehensive medical institutions,analyse the situation of drug abuse use and provide reference for drug abuse monitoring in medical institutions.Methods Drug abuse monitoring was carried out through real-time monitoring and retrospective analysis model,focus on collecting information on harmful use and drug dependence in the broad sense of drug abuse,complemented by relevant management measures,finally summarize the drug abuse information table for analysis.Results From 2021~2022,the number of reported drug abuse in our hospital was 196 cases,181 cases were reviewed by the National Drug Abuse Reporting Monitoring Network.There were 70 males(38.7%)and 111 females(61.3%).The main focus was on anti-anxiety and sedative-hypnotic drugs,with 157 cases(86.7%)on anti-anxiety and sleep improving drugs.There were 50 cases aged over 65 years old,accounting for 27.6%.There were 62 cases(34.3%)with junior high school education,46 cases(25.4%)with high school(secondary/technical school)education and 45 cases(24.9%)with primary school education.There were 44 cases who left/retired,accounting for 24.3%.Conclusion Medical institutions carry out drug abuse monitoring,focus on harmful use and drug dependence can timely and effectively collect drug abuse,behavioral characteristics and relevant information,analyse hospital drug abuse prevalence trends and identify drug abuse risks.
