Analysis of characteristics of 66 hospitalized children with acute poisoning by Pareto method and pharmacological suggestion
Objective By analyzing the cases of hospitalized children with acute poisoning to summarize the characteristics and rules of the cases, and providing a scientific basis for the prevention and reduction of acute poisoning in children. Methods Pareto method was used to retrospectively analyze the cases of 66 children who were hospitalized due to acute poisoning in the hospital, and the age distribution, poisoning quarter, variety distribution, drug type distribution, and dosage form distribution characteristics of the children were statistically analyzed. Results The main factors of children's acute poisoning age, quarter, poisoning species, and poisoning drug dosage form were:1~3 years old,the second and third quarters, drugs, tablets. The main factors of drug poisoning were drugs for the central nervous system, drugs for the cardiovascular system, drugs for the respiratory system, and drugs that affect allergies. The poisoning drug with the most cases was clonazepam tablets. Conclusion Acute poisoning mainly occurs in children aged 1~3 years old;it mainly occurs in the second and third quarters;it is mainly drugs, and the dosage form is mainly tablets;relevant national departments should further improve relevant legislation, and promote safe packaging of children's medicines, and control prescription limits and other source control;by enhancing popular science education and safety awareness of guardians, the incidence of acute poisoning in children can be effectively reduced.
