长链非编码RNA(Long non-coding RNAs,lncRNAs)是指一种长度超过200个核苷酸、缺乏蛋白质编码能力的RNA分子。它们通过与蛋白质、RNA和DNA相互作用调节基因表达。肺癌相关转录物 1(the lung cancer-related transcript 1,LUCAT1),又名SCAL1(Smoke and Cancer Associated LncRNA1),是首次于吸烟相关性肺癌组织中发现的一种lncRNA,它位于5号染色体q14。3区的反义链上。已有众多研究表明,lncRNA-LUCAT1在泌尿生殖系统肿瘤、消化系统肿瘤、肺癌、胶质瘤等肿瘤中均高表达,且与这些肿瘤的增殖、迁移、侵袭有密切的关系。另外已有研究明确表明,lncRNA-LUCAT1在肿瘤中的高表达与其不良预后显著相关。本文就lncRNA-LUCAT1在泌尿生殖系统肿瘤中的表达情况、致病机理、分子机制进行综述,为泌尿生殖系统肿瘤的早期诊断、靶向治疗、预测预后提供新方向和新策略。
The effect of long non-coding RNA-LUCAT1 in genitourinary system tumors
Long non-coding RNAs(LncRNAs)are RNA molecules which are more than 200 nucleotides long and lack protein coding ability.They regulate gene expression by interacting with proteins,RNA and DNA.Lung cancer related transcript 1(LUCAT1),also called SCAL1(Smoke and Cancer Associated LncRNA1),is a LncRNA which was found in the tissue of the smoking related lung cancer for the first time,It is located on the antisense strand of q14.3 region of chromosome 5.Many studies have shown that lncRNA-LUCAT1 is highly expressed in urogenital system tumors,digestive system tumors,lung cancer,glioma and other tumors,and is closely related to the proliferation,migration,and invasion of these tumors.In addition,studies have clearly shown that the high expression of lncRNA-LUCAT1 in tumors is significantly correlated with poor prognosis.In this paper,the expression,pathogenesis and molecular mechanism of lncRNA-LUCAT1 in genitourinary system tumors were reviewed,providing new directions and strategies for early diagnosis,targeted therapy and prognosis prediction of genitourinary system tumors.
