Clinical observation of local block therapy combined with famciclovir in the treatment of acute herpes zoster
Objective To observe the curative effect of local block therapy combined with famciclovir in the treatment of acute herpes zoster. Methods 90 patients with acute herpes zoster treated in Tianjin Teda Hospital from February 2022 to May 2023 were selected and divided into the control group(n=45)and the treatment group(n=45)according to random number method. The control group was given famciclovir capsule, mecobalamine tablet. In the treatment group, local block therapy was added, the patients were given compound betamethasone injection, vaccinia vaccine rabbit inflammatory skin extract injection, ropivacaine hydrochloride injection, according to 1:1:1 mix and match, according to the local herpes zoster nerve distribution and pain point subcutaneous injection. The rehabilitation indexes, pain degree, serum related indexes and occurrence of neuralgia were compared between the two groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results The total effective rate and β-EP level in treatment group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The blister stop time, pain stop time and scab time in treatment group were shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the SP level and VAS score of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the two groups were followed up for 2 months, and 3 cases(6.67%)of neuralgia complications occurred in the treatment group, while 10 cases(22.22%)of neuralgia complications occurred in the control group. The incidence of neuralgia was different between the two groups(χ2=4.406,P=0.036).Conclusion Local block therapy combined with famciclovir therapy has a better effect on patients with acute herpes zoster, which is conducive to the rehabilitation process of patients, reduce the pain sense of patients, prevent the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia, and improve the prognosis of patients.
