Analysis of the efficacy and safety of Tianshu Capsule combined with pregabalin in the treatment of migraine
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of Tianshu Capsule combined with pregabalin in the treatment of migraine.Methods 108 migraine patients admitted to Jinxiang People's Hospital from October 2020 to July 2023 were selected.According to the random number table method,108 patients were divided into an observation group(54 cases)and a control group(54 cases).The control group was treated with pregabalin,while the observation group was treated with a combination of Tianshu Capsule on the basis of the control group's treatment plan.Compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups,levels of homocysteine(Hcy),levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores for pain,Migraine Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire(MSQ)scores,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale scores before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(96.30%)was higher than that of the control group(83.33%)(P＜0.05).After treatment,Hcy level decreased and HDL-C level increased in both groups compared with that before treatment.Hcy level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,HDL-C level was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).VAS scores,MSQ scores and PSQI scores of both groups decreased after treatment,and VAS scores,MSQ scores and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Tianshu Capsule and pregabalin has a good therapeutic effect in the treatment of migraines.It can improve the levels of Hcy and HDL-C in patients,alleviate their pain,improve their quality of daily life and sleep,and has good safety.
