The effect of Sini San and modified Jinlingzi San combined with massage in children with mesenteric lymphadenitis
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Sini San and modified Jinlingzi San combined with massage in the treatment of children with mesenteric lymphadenitis.Methods 80 eligible children with mesenteric lymphadenitis of Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome admitted from January 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group(each group had 40 cases).The control group was received routine treatment,while the observation group was received Sini San and modified Jinlingzi San combined with massage for treatment on the basis of the routine group.The total effective rate of clinical efficacy,the abdominal pain severity scores before treatment and at 3,5,7,10 days after treatment,the time of relief and disappearance of abdominal pain of the two groups were compared;the longitudinal and transverse diameters of mesentery lymph nodes before and after treatment of the two groups were compared according to the results of ultrasound examination;The TCM syndrome scores,the levels of PCT,CGRP,and ET-1 before and after treatment between the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the observation group was 90.00%,which was higher than 72.50%in the control group(P＜0.05);On the 3,5,7 and 10 days after treatment,the abdominal pain severity score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the relief and disappearance time of abdominal pain in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the longitudinal and transverse diameters of mesentery lymph nodes in both groups were smaller than those before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of both groups significantly decreased(P＜0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the levels of PCT and ET-1 in both groups were significantly reduced(P＜0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of CGRP in both groups were significantly increased(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Sini San and modified Jinlingzi San combined with massage can significantly relieve abdominal pain,shrink mesentery lymph nodes,relieve TCM syndromes,and improve the level of biochemical indicators in children with mesenteric lymphadenitis of Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.The clinical effect is better than that of western medicine alone.
