Association research progress of pollen allergens with rhinitis and asthma in children
Allergic diseases are common and frequent clinical diseases,and the incidence is still rising,seriously affecting the quality of life and work of patients,and also bringing greater economic burden to society,which has become a public health problem that needs global attention.As the most common outdoor allergen,pollen can cause allergic reactions such as allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma,resulting in nasal mucosal inflammation and nasal congestion,runny nose and sneezing and other allergic symptoms,which seriously affect the quality of life and work of patients,and children and adolescents are facing growth and development,academic and other pressures,which cause more significant troubles.Past studies have shown a strong association between pollen allergy and allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma in children.In this paper,the concept of pollen syndrome,the distribution of pollen and its influencing factors,and the related studies between pollen allergens and allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma are reviewed,so that clinical workers can accurately identify pollen-related allergic diseases and provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases.
