Study of correlation between CYP2C19 gene polymorphism and lipid level in patients with acute cerebral infarction
Objective To investigate the correlation between CYP2C19 gene polymorphism and lipid levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 150 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to the Department of Neurology of Jieyang People's Hospital from July 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected as the observation group and 150 healthy subjects in the physical examination center of the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The clinical data of all subjects were investigated and collected in detail through the hospital's HIS system.Including gender, age, previous medical history such as hypertension and diabetes, personal history, diagnosis and treatment process, imaging results, blood test results[including alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate amino acid transferase(AST),total cholesterol(CHOL),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesturia(LDL-C),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),D-dimer,etc.],CYP2C19 genotype. Results There were significant differences in number of cases of hypertension and diabetes mellitus,HbA1c,CHOL、LDL-C、HDL-C and D-dimer between observation group and control group(P<0.05).Among the 150 CYP2C19 cases of acute cerebral infarction, there were 61 cases of normal metabolic type(EM),64 cases of intermediate metabolic type(IM),and 25 cases of slow metabolic type(PM),the TG of the IM group was higher than that of the EM group(t=3.332,P=0.001),the LDL-C of the IM group was higher than that of the EM group(t=2.261,P=0.026),the PM group was higher than that of the IM group(t=2.142,P=0.035),and the HDL-C of the PM group was higher than that of the EM group(t=2.277,P=0.025).Conclusion The polymorphism of CYP2C19 gene is correlated with the level of blood lipid in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
