Analysis of the therapeutic effect of two different multiple mixed pure tone frequency sounds on the treatment of chronic subjective tinnitus
Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of two different multiple mixed pure tone frequency sounds in patients with chronic subjective tinnitus. Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic subjective tinnitus from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and divided into two groups for 50 patients in each group by random number table. Both groups were treated with conventional methods, and, based on this, the control group acoustic treatment received the tinnitus frequency measured in the tinnitus detection as the center frequency, consisting of pure tones of different frequencies in 7 times frequency range. The observation group received the tinnitus frequency measured in the tinnitus detection as the center frequency, consisting of 9 pure tones of different frequencies in 1/3 frequency range. Both groups completed 3 months of treatment. The effectiveness, tinnitus handicap inventory(THI),and tinnitus evaluation questionnaire(TEQ),serum cell adhesion factor 1(sVCAM-1)and nitric oxide(NO)levels were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of the observation group after 3 months of treatment was 96.00%,which was higher than that of the control group(84.00%,P<0.05);after 3 months of intervention, the functional, emotional, catastrophic,TEQ scores and sVCAM-1,NO levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The mixed frequency sound consisting of 9 1/3 frequency range pure tones with different frequencies has a higher effective rate in the treatment of chronic subjective tinnitus. It can improve patients'tinnitus symptoms, and help reduce sVCAM-1 and NO levels.
