Study on the efficacy of mesalazine combined with microecological preparations in the treatment of ulcerative colitis
Objective To explore the effect of mesalazine combined with microecological preparations in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods A total of 80 patients with UC were selected in Anhui Medical College Affiliated Hospital(The Second People's Hospital of Anhui Province)from January 2021 to January 2024 were randomly divided into control group(n=40)and study group(n=40).The control group was treated with mesalazine,and the study group was treated with mesalazine combined with microecological preparations.The clinical efficacy,inflammatory factors,immune function,adverse reactions and disease improvement were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05);after treatment,the levels of IL-6 and hs-CRP in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in symptom score and colonoscopy score between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05);after treatment,the symptom score and colonoscopy score of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)levels between the two groups before treatment,and there was no significant difference in immunoglobulin M(IgM)levels between the two groups before and after treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the IgA and IgG levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Mesalazine combined with microecological preparations in the treatment of UC can better improve the clinical symptoms,immune function and inflammatory factor levels of patients,and has a high safety.
