Using HPLC with gradient elution to detect triptolide content in Tripterygium glycosides tablets
Objective To establish a method to determine the content of triptolide in Tripterygium glycosides tablets by HPLC with gradient elution. Methods The high performance liquid chromatography external standard method was adopted with methanol aqueous solution with gradient elution at a flow rate of 0.9 ml/min,column temperature of 25℃and detection wavelength of 218 nm.Results The linear relationship was good(r=0.999 8)in the range of 0.65 to 41.68 μg/ml with the average recovery of 103.43%and the RSD of 0.96%(n=9).Conclusion Compared to the detection method of triptolide content in the drug standard, the gradient elution is better in reproducibility and higher in accuracy. It can be used as a quantitative method for the quantitative analysis of triptolide in Tripterygium glycosides tablets.
