Clinical pharmacist participation in anti-infection treatment of a patient with pan drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii
Objective Exploring how clinical pharmacists can carry out personalized pharmaceutical monitoring in patients infected with pan drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii,providing ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment plans.Methods Clinical pharmacists assist physicians in individualized medication monitoring of patients infected with pan drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii,and participate in the formulation of medication plans throughout the entire process,providing recommendations for drug selection and adjustment.Results The patient's body temperature gradually returned to normal,and the relevant laboratory indicators returned to normal.After the condition improved,they were transferred to a lower level hospital for rehabilitation treatment.Conclusion Clinical pharmacists actively participate in the formulation of patient treatment plans and provide recommendations for the best cost-effective medication plan,which helps physicians choose more reasonable,economical,and effective drugs,thereby improving clinical treatment effectiveness,shortening patient hospitalization time,and reducing hospitalization costs.
