Retrospective analysis of clinical off-label use of misoprostol and its safety
Objective To evaluate the clinical off-label use of misoprostol and its safety,so as to provide reference for its rational use.Methods Adverse reaction reports of misoprostol in hospital during 2018～2022 were collected,and then analyzed retrospectively.Results The results showed that the number of adverse reaction cases of misoprostol was on the rise in general before changing the drug manufacturer.The main reasons may be related to the selection of drug administration routes,the more and more extensive clinical use of drugs,and the patient's medication treatment.Conclusion Due to the increasing number of adverse reactions and the emergence of new types of serious adverse reactions,clinical pharmacist needs to strengthen the drug safety analysis and pay more attention to this drug.
