Effect of transurethral holmium laser bladder tumor resection combined with epirubicin bladder infusion chemotherapy on tumor markers in patients with bladder cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of transurethral holmium laser bladder tumor resection plus epirubicin bladder infusion chemotherapy on tumor markers in patients with bladder cancer. Methods 100 cases of bladder cancer patients in Tianjin Third Central Hospital and the Branch of Tianjin Third Central Hospital from October 2020 to November 2023 were divided into the control group(transurethral holmium laser bladder tumor resection,n=50)and the study group(transurethral holmium laser bladder tumor resection+epirubicin bladder infusion chemotherapy,n=50)due to their different treatment methods. The difference of clinical efficacy, tumor marker level, quality of life, occurrence of adverse events and recurrence between the two groups was evaluated. Results Compared with the control group(66.00%),the total clinical effective rate of the study group(84.00%)was higher(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the level of tumor markers and scores of quality of life in the study group after treatment were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group(16.00%and 18.00%),the incidence of adverse events(4.00%)and recurrence(6.00%)in the study group were lower(P<0.05).Conclusion After transurethral holmium laser bladder tumor resection and epirubicin bladder infusion chemotherapy combined, tumor marker levels and quality of life of patients with bladder cancer were significantly improved, and the efficacy was significant, with low risk of adverse events and low recurrence rate.
