An analysis of 28 HPV genotypes and infection characteristics in 5 534 female patients in Huadu District,Guangzhou
Objective To analyze the infection and distribution characteristics of 28 genotypes of human papillomavirus(HPV)in female cervical cells in Huadu area of Guangzhou.Methods A total of 5 534 female patients who were admitted to the gynecology clinic of Guangzhou Hospital of Intergrated Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2023 to December 2023,and 28 HPV types were detected and analyzed by PCR and reverse dotblot hybridization technology.Results Among the 5 534 females,the prevalence of HPV infection was 26.1%,the prevalence of high-risk subtypes was 17.4%,and the prevalence of low-risk subtypes was 8.7%.High-risk subtypes were the highest in people aged 17~25 years(33.7%);26~35 years old,36~45 years old,the infection rate decreased gradually,46~55 years old,the infection rate increased again,≥56 years old,the infection rate increased to 22.9%,and the infection rate showed a"basin"trend as a whole.The highest prevalence in the low-risk subgroup was 12.6%in the>56-year-old population.The high-risk subtypes and low-risk subtypes of different age groups were dominated by single infection.The top five high-risk subtypes of each age group were 16,39,52,53 and 58;The low-risk subtypes were mainly 81,54,44 and 61.Conclusion The HPV infection rate of women in gynecological outpatient clinics in Huadu District,Guangzhou is 26.1%,mainly high-risk subtype infection,and mainly single infection,high-risk subtype infection rate is the highest in people aged 17~25 years,type 16,type 39,type 52,type 53 and type 58 are the most common infection types in women in Huadu District,Guangzhou.
