Effect of tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules on the prognosis of patients after ureteral extracorporeal shockwave lithotriptic surgery
Objective To explore the effect of tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules on the prognosis of patients after ureteral extracorporeal shockwave lithotriptic surgery. Methods According to the random number table method,60 patients with ureteral extracorporeal shockwave lithotriptic surgery enrolled in a hospital from June 2022 to May 2023 were divided into the control group(furosemide treatment,n=30)and the study group(furosemide tablets+tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules combined therapy,n=30).The change difference in the indicators of stone discharge status, renal function, inflammatory response, quality of life, adverse events between the two groups were compared, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups were evaluated. Results Compared with the control group(73.33%),the total clinical effective rate of the study group(96.67%)was higher(P<0.05).The indexes of stone discharge status in the study group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 3 weeks of treatment, renal function, inflammation and quality of life in the study group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group(26.67%),the incidence of adverse events in the study group(6.67%)was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Using tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsules in patients after ureteral extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy can improve stone discharge status, renal function, inflammatory response and quality of life, with low risk of adverse events and significant curative effect.
