Application and rationality analysis of tigacycline in hospital
Objective To analyze the application and rationality of tigacycline in Yunfu People's Hospital.Methods 92 patients treated with tigacycline in Yunfu People's Hospital from 2022 to 2023 were selected as the study objects,and the distribution and use of tigacycline in the hospital departments,the occurrence of irrational drug use,the combination of drug use and the purpose of drug use,and the occurrence of adverse reactions were analyzed.Results The 92 patients treated with tigacycline were mainly from respiratory department(36.96%),intensive care department(28.26%)and neurology department(8.70%).The detection rate of specimens was 79.35%;The treatment course was less than 5 days in 41 cases;The treatment course was 5～14 days in 41 cases,and 30 cases were effective.The treatment course was longer than 14 days in 10 cases,and 6 cases were effective.There were 33 irrational drug use,the total incidence was 35.87%;Off-label drug use occurred 19 times,with an incidence of 20.65%.19 cases(20.65%)were treated with monotherapy.A total of 68 cases(73.91%)were treated with two drugs.Triple drug was used in 15 cases,accounting for 16.30%;Adverse reactions occurred in 13 cases(14.13%).Conclusion The use of tigecycline in Yunfu People's Hospital is unreasonable.The abuse of tigecycline can be prevented and the rational use rate can be improved through consultation and management.
