Objective To observe the application and clinical efficacy of ultrasound-guided acupotomy combined with joint mobilization surgery in the treatment of frozen shoulder.Methods One hundred and twenty patients who visited the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Beijing Daxing District Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine from September 2020 to April 2022 were included.The patients were divided into experimental group(n=60)and control group(n=60)according to a random number scale.The experimental group was treated with ultrasound-guided acupotomy combined with joint mobilization surgery,and the control group was treated with conventional acupotomy combined with joint mobilization surgery.Before treatment,1 day and 1 month after treatment,inferior glenohumeral joint capsule thickness(ICT)under ultrasound,visual analog pain score(VAS score)and shoulder joint function score(Constant Murley scale score)were evaluated to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results One day and one month after treatment,the ICT values of both groups decreased to below 3 mm,and the ICT value in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group(P＜0.05);the VAS scores were lower than 4 points in both groups,and the VAS score was about 2 points in the experimental group,with a significantly higher compared to the control group(P＜0.05);the Constant-Murley scores were higher than 20 points in both groups,and the Constant-Murley score was higher than 30 points in experimental group,with a significantly higher compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided acupotomy combined with joint mobilization for the treatment of frozen shoulder has obvious clinical efficacy.
