Effect of seamless integrated care on intraoperative shivering and intestinal function recovery in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery
Objective To study the effect of seamless integrated care on intraoperative shivering and intestinal function recovery time in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery.Methods A total of 82 patients who underwent laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College from November 2021 to November 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into an observation group(seamless integrated care)and a control group(conventional perioperative care),with 41 cases in each group.The occurrence of intraoperative shivering,postoperative intestinal function recovery,gastric and intestinal dysfunction scores on postoperative days 1,3,and 7,and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of intraoperative shivering in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(7.32％vs 24.39％,P＜0.05).The observation group showed shorter gastric tube retention time,faster recovery of bowel sounds,shorter time to first flatus,first bowel movement,and first intake of liquid diet,as well as a shorter hospital stay compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The observation group had lower gastric and intestinal dysfunction scores on postoperative days 1,3,and 7 compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Scale(NSNS)scores in the observation group,including individual scores and total score,were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Seamless integrated care can reduce intraoperative shivering in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery,promote postoperative intestinal function recovery,and enhance nursing satisfaction.
