Research Progress of Yeast Culture and Active Dry Yeast on the Regulation of Rumen in Ruminants
The problem of antibiotic resistance has always been a key concern of animal husbandry,so the research and development of antibiotic substitutes has been widely concerned.Numerous studies have shown that yeast culture and active dry yeast have various biological functions such as improving the gastrointestinal environment,stimulating innate and acquired immunity,adsorbing mycotoxins,and enhancing antioxidant capacity.These yeast products have been widely used in ruminant production.At present,the research results on yeast preparation regulating rumen function in ruminants are not consistent,and the mechanism of action is not clear.Therefore,this paper systematically summarized the action mechanism of yeast culture and active dry yeast,explored their effects on ruminal environment,microflora and rumen nutrition metabolism.The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for further research on the regulation of rumen function of yeast products in ruminants,and to provide a theoretical support for the green and safe application of yeast in animal husbandry.
