Landscape Planning Strategies for Realizing Ecosystem Regulation Service Value:A Case Study of Leiyang City
Ecological regulation services are the public products without physical form, which makes it difficult to have their value realized.Taking Leiyang City in Hunan Province,as an example, this paper uses the process model to quantitatively evaluate the value and spatial distribution of ecosystem regulation services, and introduces the concept of carriers to spatially realize the value of ecosystem regulation services through the appropriate technology and landscape planning. The results show that:1)The services of carbon sequestration, soil and water conservation, climate regulation, soil fixation, air purification and water purification in Leiyang City are valued at $0.06 billion,$0.01 billion,$299.16 billion,$1.86 million,$113.7 billion and $0.4 billion, respectively, but their distributions are uneven, while the total value of ecological regulation services in the eastern area is higher than that in the western area;their value is the lowest in central area with intensive human activities, showing the characteristics of spatial agglomeration;and 2)In terms of the proportion of value realization modes of ecological regulation service, ecological agriculture carrier, ecological industry carrier, ecological tourism carrier, ecological property rights trading carrier, ecological compensation carrier and ecological restoration carrier account for 19.17%,4.27%,15.17%,11.25%,33.57%and 16.57%,respectively,indicating that the dominant model in Leiyang City is ecological compensation carrier, which has higher ecological sensitivity and higher potential productivity of ecological products essential for ecosystem stability.Based on the study,it is proposed that the landscape planning featured with"one axis and multiple points, and multiple zones with three cores"is the main landscape strategy for realizing the value of ecological regulation services in Leiyang City.
